It is an old stone mansion of Venetian style, with a huge private courtyard, partly paved with stone, located in the village of Sternes, 2 km from the sandy beach of Marathi and 5 km from the airport. At a distance of 2 km is the Guesthouse Marathoula, next to the sandy beach of Marathi. Just beside the small cafe that the owners feature.

The Locations
MARATHI BEACH
Marathi is the ideal beach for families with young children and not only. The beaches in Marathi are wonderful. They are two and separated from the pier of the small port. None of them does prevail over the other. It is sandy, organized with sunbeds and umbrellas. The most important is that Marathi hardly ever has waves, even on days of high wind in western part of Crete. The beaches are overlooking to the southeast, to Souda Bay and the mountains of Akrotiri are protecting the area from the north winds.
STERNES VILLAGE
Sternes is a beautiful, traditional village located in the peninsula of Akrotiri, overlooking over the bay of Souda and the White Mountains of Crete. Although it is a peaceful and refined area, it is easily accessible and located 10 km from the historic town of Chania, 5 km from the international airport and 12km from the port of Souda. The region is an ideal place to rest and relax and has cafes, mini markets and restaurants nearby.

Activities
Seitan Limania
Seitan Limania, 20km northeast of Chania and 2km east of the village Chordaki, at the east side of Akrotiri Cape. It is quite unknown to most people, even the residents of Chania. This paradise is mostly known to the lucky residents of Chordaki village, who struggle to keep it safe, beautiful and clean.
Tombs of Venizelos
Specifically, on the Akrotiri peninsula, one of the most popular spots offering a panoramic view of Chania, are the Tombs of Venizelos, one of the most famous Greek politician Eleftherios Venizelos and his son Sophocles Venizelos and the small church of Prophet Elias.
Monastery of Agia Triada
Monastery of Agia Triada or Monastery Tzagarolon, as it is well known, one of the most impressive monasteries you will ever see in Crete. It is worth visiting the church and the complex of the Monastery and, also, to see the large woodcuts and images hosted in the museum of the Abbey.
